In July 2016 our church welcomed Jake Edwards as our new pastor. Jake, who was born and raised in Graham, Texas, and his wife, Tricia, came to Jayton along with their three children, Landry, Norah, and Bo.

Jake and his family moved from Lubbock where Jake was Student Pastor at Victory Life Baptist Church.

Jake graduated from Dallas Baptist University with a Bachelor of Science in Christian Studies in 2010.  He also earned a Masters of Theological studies from DBU and is currently pursuing his doctorate.

You will also find him all around our community, from being the voice of the Jaybirds on Friday nights to serving on the City Council.
