Hi! I'm Nate Sprinkle, along with my wife, Barbi, and children, Brienna, Noah, Kira, Micah, and Elijah. It is exciting for us to be in Jayton, serving the First Baptist Church and the whole community. We look forward to being a part of what God is going to do in and through our people in the days ahead!
In July 2009, our family returned to Texas having served nearly seven years on the field as cross-cultural missionaries in south Asia. God has given us a desire to lead the lost to Him and encourage 21st century Christians to find joy in living lives in the Spirit of Christ -- with Godly vision, Godly passion, Godly principles.
And, along with our church here in Jayton, we want to continue living out God's missional call on our lives. So, we look forward to connecting with families in Kent County in personal relationships that will impel each of us, as followers of Jesus Christ, to grow deeper (spiritually) and wider (missionally).
Our family is excited about sharing with your family the mission experiences we gained in south Asia. And we want to lead our church to think more outwardly and missionally in the ever-shrinking world of the 21st century. So, we invite you to be an active part of our church family as we grow into the disciple-making body of Christ that God intends -- based on a trust in Jesus and a foundation in God's Word -- so that our world is impacted for His glory.
In the love of Christ,
Nate
Email Buddy and Bonnie Buddy and Bonnie have been an integral part of our church family for many years. They are devoted to serving God in numerous areas and they lead our congregation in praise and worship with Buddy's beautiful guitar accompaniment.
They are blessed with two daughters and one son who are all grown now and active in their churches. The daughters and sons-in-law are in full time ministry, and one of the couples served as foreign missionaries for several years.
Stephen, Johnna, and their two children are a blessing to our church. They moved to Jayton in 2010 and began serving the Lord in both music and youth ministry. They use their musical talent and beautiful voices in leading our congregational praise and worship with guitar accompaniment and also by bringing special music from time to time.
Email Bob and PatriciaBob and Patricia have been in the music ministry of FBC since 1955 and although they have "passed the reins" to the younger generation they continue to help out as substitutes from time to time when needed.
G.L. is a long time member and a deacon of FBC Jayton. He leads our Wednesday adult group so that our pastor can meet with the youth group. G.L. is an excellent Bible study teacher and always gives us "food for thought." We are grateful for his leadership.
